Happy First Birthday Hannah

Our friend baby Hannah turns one today. It seems like she was just born yesterday. Best wishes from Sula and the crew!

Wow, that was only 5 months ago!

Sula is 5 months and 1 week old today.  She is changing so fast, her favorite new thing this week is to give hugs.  She also loves to eat rice cereal now.

A visit from grandma KK

My mom came to visit this weekend and we had a great time together.  We were able to relax and watch Sula improve her tummy time and language skills.  Corey and I were also able to escape on Saturday night for a quick Valentines Day date; dessert and a movie.  On Sunday we went to Como Park and had lunch at Cafe Late.  What a fun weekend!  

Sula is making some new sounds now.  She likes to say, "muaa, mua, ma, ma." It almost sounds like she is saying mama.  She has also taken a lot of interest into grabbing and pulling things, her favorites are hair and the cats.  

What is this stuff?

On Saturday we tried to offer rice cereal to Sula.  She was not a fan and spit most of it back out of her mouth.  She has been showing signs of interest in solid food, such as smacking her lips and grabbing at our food during dinner.  I guess this was all show.  We will try again some other time.
