I had the pleasure of traveling to D.C. the week of July 18-23 for an EPA Registration/Re-evaluation PREP Course (work stuff). This was my first business trip away from Sula and I have to admit, I really enjoyed it! Here are some highlights:

Traveling on the Metro to and from Crystal City, VA

Walked around the perimeter of the White House. Way in the distance you can see the White House garden that Michelle Obama put in last summer.

Enjoyed the Renwick Gallery late in the afternoon.

Checked out the National Museum of Natural History and headed straight to the entomology exhibit. This is a 20 million year old moth preserved in amber!
The following are from a work related trip to EPA Headquarters, the Ariel Rios Building in downtown D.C.:

After a meeting with the
Office of Enforcement and Compliance we got a VIP trip up to EPA's press room. I even got a peak at
Administrator Lisa Jackson's Office. Here I am getting a moment behind the EPA podium. I know, super cheesy but I just couldn't resist.

More EPA green room.
