An Indian summer is...
a meteorological phenomenon that occurs in November or later, in the Northern Hemisphere. It is characterized by a period of sunny, warm weather, after the leaves have turned or fallen and there is no snow cover on the ground.

Happy Halloween

Sula got dressed up as a dragonfly pixie tonight and went trick-or-treating with her papa. Later she helped pass out candy and discovered that it was a convenient way to eat even more candy. I think she fell deeply in love with sweet tarts tonight. Good thing mom and dad have a plan to get all the the candy out of the house by tomorrow morning (we did leave Sula a tiny little stash but shhhh don't tell her).


And look who came over later to say hello. It is our buddy Charlie!

Happy 10th Birthday Mouse

Mouse- also known as Lau Shu Scopatoni Blizzminio- turns 10 today! To celebrate I gave him salmon for dinner and then offered him a catnip stogie, after all he is the boss around here!

Well, Nila is always trying to get me to post on the blog and I rarely do. I just upgraded my iMovie software from iMovie '09 to '11 and have been trying to try it out. I made this video when the president visited recently and we happened to be in the right place at the right time to "see" him.

Thank you Barb and Doug for the tickets to the UM - PSU game! We had a blast and really annoyed the people sitting around us as we bickered about who is the best team. We all know who is the best- PSU!

Catching up
