Snow Date

Today we had a snow date at Theodore Wirth Park. It was a beautiful winter day with just the perfect combination of sun and light, fluffy snow. Sula is mastering her snow legs and really enjoys sledding. We look forward to the day when we can all go cross country skiing at this lovely park.

Bubble Love

Sula had her first real bubble bath on Saturday night and she loved it.

Sula and Zach meet again

Sula and Zach are only one day apart in age, they were good buddies at our former childcare place- Sandcastles. This past month we have found Zach and his family at two of our favorite spots in St. Paul, the Como Zoo & Conservatory and the Children's Museum. Here they are playing together again at the Children's Museum this weekend.

Bedroom makeover

Our bedroom will be getting a much needed makeover in the coming months. Right now I am in the planning stages. Here are some things I am currently thinking about:

Paint color: going from blah brown/beige to a very light neutral color from the Affinity color line of Benjamin Moore Aura paints such as sonnet or fossil.

Furniture: Calvin bed, six drawer dresser, and two night stands in mocha stain from Room and Board

Ceiling fan: The Concept II Flush Fan in silver from Restoration Hardware.

Rug: Cyrille rug from Crate and Barrel.

Bedding and Curtains: Still looking for ideas, I like a few things from Crate and Barrel, including the Vincenza Ivory Curtains and Peninsula Natural Cotton-Linen Bed Linens (which is machine washable!). I may just get the Euro pillows in this print.

Remaining hardware accessories: I always look for inspiration at Rejuvenation based out of Oregon.
