Hines Family Journal is moving to Word Press
Hi,
My winter project is to move our family blog to Word Press. I have a site I am working on right now but I am not ready to share it just quite yet. I am very excited about this move. You will be able to view more pictures and VIDEO. I have been very disappointed in the settings in Blogger for video posts, I think it is going be be a lot better in Word Press. So please be patient as I work on the move and stay tuned. You are going to love our new blog!!!

First haircut
Sula was treated like royalty at the Brian Graham salon today, where she got her first hair trim with Marriah.
Sula is very sensitive about her hair. The only thing she asked from Santa Claus this Christmas was a hair brush and some barrettes. Her special request came because she wants to do her hair, "just like Sarah," who is a friend at childcare. Sula is very excited that her hair is finally growing and she can now wear pretty pink barrettes. It has been interesting to observe how Sula picked up on such differences so early and expressed a desire to fit in with her friends.

The before shot, ready to go!

She listened so well when Marriah asked her to put her head down. For once she demonstrated her ability to listen when it counts. Now if we could just get her to listen with other things.

Bye bye baby hair mullet. Hello cute toddler bob!

She loved every moment of this experience, including looking at herself in the mirror.
And drum roll please...

Ta da! Here is the AFTER shot. Looking good Sula!

Such a cute bob, but what have we done? I think we have set some very high expectations, she will never want to go to Super Cuts now.
