Keewaydin Park is just one block north of our house, there you will find an elementary school, community center, and a park with a wading pool. The park’s name was taken from Longfellow’s poem, Song of Hiawatha. Keewaydin is a Native American word that means ''northwest wind'' or ''‘home wind.'' We like to come up to this park as often as we can because it has some awesome playground equipment for toddlers. This was the first time we checked out the wading pool. We will for sure be back next year!
