Enjoying fresh cut flowers

In my mind, there is nothing more uplifting than having fresh cut flowers around the house. At the end of summer there is such an amazing variety from the farmers markets.

Here is a fall inspired bouquet I bought at the St. Paul farmers market.

Here is a simple arrangement of zinnias and cosmos from the garden on my nightstand. It makes me so happy to wake up to this.
